Training
According to the Federal Regulations, all institutions governed by HIPAA must train their employees regarding protected health information. The levels of training will vary according to the individual employee’s access level. Training will take place through a variety of media. Examples include online self-paced tutorials and group sessions. All affected employees will be notified of their required training. Training will be updated on an annual basis.
